Hotboys serves Nashville hot chicken alongside a menu of simple sides inspired by flavors found across several southern states. Victor talks about how he met his business partner, Berk Gibbs, after lowballing him on a painting at a party in Colorado, and how Berk has spearheaded the look of their company. They discuss the cockiness of some customers who come in looking for a challenge, the different hotness levels of their chicken, why hot chicken has become such a trend and a list of other establishments who are doing it right. Victor also explains why they decided to use social media in a different way and how the authenticity of their approach has led to success.
